How to Get Audio Into the iPhone

Ground Up Audio developed the Amps & Cabs™ and Pedals™ apps to allow musicians to play instruments through the iPhone® while applying real time audio effects. Sound can be input into the iPhone® using the built-in microphone, but the real power of Amps & Cabs™ and Pedals™ comes to life when audio is directly injected into the phone. An additional piece of hardware is necessary to accomplish this.

We searched high and low to find a suitable cable, box, or interface that’s currently being manufactured. We purchased a few cables made by reputable manufacturers and were let down by them. We could not locate a reliable, affordable, and high-quality interface.

So…we’re making one.

Ground Up Audio is developing a “magic” solution that will allow you to interface your instruments with your iPhone®, so you can play through your iPhone® without sacrificing quality of signal. If you’re interested in knowing when our solution becomes available, please enter your email below.
